We are a local Brent group founded to develop and run community food-growing spaces
Our mission
Make fresh organically grown fruit and vegetables more accessible to the wider community
Nurture food growing knowledge and skills among community members.
Promote physical and mental wellbeing by building connections among community members growing together

Community Growing Project
Every week, we gather together at our sites and work on whatever’s necessary for the season. In winter, preparing the ground. In spring, sowing seeds. In summer and autumn, watering and harvesting, and donating to our local food banks and community food hubs. Even if you only have a half an hour a month, we welcome your energy!
Please email us at letsgrowbrent@gmail.com if you think you’d like to join us at one of our regular sessions. We’ll have a quick chat to get to know you and then add you to our WhatsApp group, where you’ll learn what we’re planning for the week and can let us know when you’d like to join.
Session timings vary with the seasons but here’s a rough schedule:
Newman Catholic College - NW10 3RN - Friday mornings
Harlesden Town Gardens - NW10 4BB - Saturday mornings
Longstone Allotments - NW10 3UE - Sunday mornings
Come Grow with Us
We support the development of school growing spaces that introduce children and other school community members to the food cycle through growing, harvesting, cooking, eating, learning and observing
We want to help give children a more intimate connection with and potential for more control of their food, diet, and health
We’re building a list of schools who would like to be involved in this project - if your school is interested in joining, please get in touch….
Growing Impact
